Diving Deep: A Decade of Dedication as a Pool Attendant

In a peaceful place called Venare, nestled in Nuvali, Canlubang, Laguna, there's a guy named Eric Antonio. For ten years, Eric has been taking care of the pools in Venare, making sure they stay clean and sparkling. He's like a guardian of the water, always working hard to keep everything perfect.

Eric's journey into pool maintenance started ten years ago when he realized it was a convenient job close to home. But soon, he found he really enjoyed it. "I've always liked being around water," Eric says with a smile. "Being a pool attendant lets me combine that with a sense of purpose."

Taking care of pools might seem simple, but Eric knows it's a lot of work. He has to vacuum and skim the pools, and he also has to know about things like water chemistry. It's a mix of physical labor and technical know-how.

When it comes to money, Eric doesn't talk about it much because it's against Venare's rules. But he says he's paid well enough to support himself and his family.

But more than just a job, Eric says being a pool attendant has taught him a lot. "Every day, I learn something new," he explains. "Whether it's fixing a filter or figuring out how to balance the water, I'm always getting better at what I do."

Eric didn't start out wanting to work with pools. He studied Building Wiring in college. But he found his true passion at Venare, surrounded by the calm waters.

As the sun goes down and the water glows, Eric keeps watching over Venare's pools. In his simple job, Eric shows that passion and hard work can make a big difference, even in something as ordinary as taking care of pools. His story reminds us that greatness can be found anywhere, even by the water's edge.
