Aguinaldo-Ayala seizure of the land of farmers and citizens of Barangay Tartaria, Silang, Cavite ended in violence!

The recent protest in front of the municipality of Silang was a clear message from the residents of Tartaria that they will not stand idly by while their land is forcefully taken from them. The desperation and frustration felt by the farmers and citizens have reached a boiling point, leading to clashes with security forces and escalating tensions in the community.

The violence that erupted as a result of the Aguinaldo-Ayala seizure of land is a stark reminder of the inequalities and injustices faced by many marginalized communities in the Philippines. The lack of accountability and protection from the authorities has left the residents of Tartaria feeling abandoned and helpless in the face of powerful land developers.

The government must address the grievances of the farmers and citizens of Tartaria and take decisive action to protect their rights and ensure their safety. The issue of land grabbing and harassment must be resolved through dialogue and cooperation, with the interests and well-being of the community at the forefront of any decision-making process.
