Chel Diokno Empowers Youth with Legal Insight of Lawmaking

On Saturday, March 2, 2024, Atty. Chel Diokno took center stage at the Function Hall of the New Imus City Government Center to address a gathering of youth leaders from across Cavite province. Invited to speak at the program, “Legally Crafted CaviteKnows: Empowering Youth through Lawmaking and Project Creation,” Dionko shared insights aimed at fostering youth empowerment through legal knowledge and innovative project development.

Hosted by the Cavite Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation, the event attracted prominent figures within the youth governance sphere. This includes Cavite SK President Chelsea Sarno and Imus SK President Glian Ilagan. Alongside them were numerous Imus SK officers and chairpersons, as well as SK chairpersons from various municipalities of Cavite, representing a diverse and vibrant cross-section of Cavite's youth leadership.

During the program, attendees discussed the importance of understanding relevant laws pertaining to their advocacy.
