CvSU Silang Soars Top in 2023 LET

Cavite State University's Silang Campus emerged as the leading institution in the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) Secondary Level, reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence. The ceremony honoring the newly minted educators took place on February 9 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.

CvSU Silang Campus distinguished itself with a remarkable 93.44 percent passing rate, outshining other schools, colleges, and universities with 50 or more examinees. The recognition was conferred upon the institution by esteemed members of the Professional Regulation Commission, underscoring the caliber of education imparted at CvSU.

The honor was accepted by CvSU's Vice President for Academic Affairs, Ma. Agnes Nuestro, alongside Silang Campus Administrator Jocelyn Reyes, Teacher Education Department Chairman Roselyn Ymana, and Bachelor of Secondary Education Program Coordinator Lemellu Nida Sarmiento. Their leadership and dedication to academic excellence were instrumental in guiding CvSU Silang Campus to this momentous achievement.

Amidst the collective success, Airish Bantog, a Bachelor of Special Needs Education graduate from CvSU's main campus, shone brightly, securing the 8th position in the LEPT Elementary Level with an impressive score of 93 percent. Bantog's stellar performance underscores CvSU's commitment to nurturing academic talent across its diverse programs.

Cavite State University, with roots dating back to 1906 as the Indang Intermediate School, has undergone several transformations to evolve into the esteemed institution it is today.
