DILG Hosts Innovative Gathering for LGRC - MSAC in Dynamic Inaugural Quarter Meet-Up




The Department of Interior and Local Government Region IV-A (DILG IV-A) conducted the first quarter Local Governance Resource Center — Multi-Sectoral Advisory Committee (LGRC-MSAC) on February 8, 2024. It was hosted by the Development Academy of the Philippines Graduate School of Public Management and Development (DAP GSPMD) at the DAP Conference Hall in Tagaytay, Cavite.


Established in 2005, the LGRC aims to integrate and disseminate information about human resource management to local governments—articulating government policies and guidelines, contributing relevant governance knowledge to allied parties, and providing governance to partnerships. 


The meeting set a direction for the LGRC team and its partnerships, focusing on building relationships between the members allowing for communication, interaction, and network-building with one another.


The attending parties included the LGRC-MSAC members, government offices and agencies, private organizations, non-profit organizations, and Learning Resources Institutions.
