Magallanes on the 108th with the celebration of Muscovado festival commenced, Banchetto de Magallanes

As the annual founding anniversary of Magallanes and the Muscovado Festival's festivities commenced, a joyful cooking competition happened the fifteenth day of March 2024. 

With the themed, Nagkakaisang Magalleno, Tulong-Tulong Para Sa Pag-asenso Ng Agri-Eko Turismo, the Banchetto de Magallanes showed a different kind of talent in cooking adobo of the Magallanes people. 

 According to Magallanes BPLO, this program also serves as assistance for MSME’s to introduce and continue to support the locally-made products of fellow Magallenos. And a dedication from the esteemed mayor, Jasmin Angelli Maligaya-Bautista. 

This annual celebration fosters a sense of unity and joy among the town's people. The tradition of anniversary celebrations continues through delicious food, providing happiness and opportunities for the community to come together.   

The “Banchetto de Magallanes” is not just about the food: it’s also about expressing gratitude for the history and culture of the town. The joy brought by the variety of dishes serves as proof that every bite has a story and happiness behind it.
