NHA aids Cavite fire victims

Over the weekend, the National Housing Authority (NHA) gave out a total of  as monetary support to 38 households whose homes were destroyed by fire in four different barangays in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

NHA Region IV Manager, Roderick T. Ibañez, acted on behalf of NHA general manager, Joeben Tai, and oversaw the distribution of P10,000 in cash to beneficiaries from Barangays Paliparan, Burol, Langkaan, and Salitran at the City Hall of Dasmariñas.

The Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHAP) of the NHA aims to expand its housing services by granting financial aid to individuals affected by disasters. This aid is intended to assist them in purchasing essential housing materials for the reconstruction of their residences.

Besides fire incidents, the NHA's EHAP also addresses various disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes, and floods.

Kayezelle C. Buison, aged 20 and residing in Barangay Paliparan 3, shared her intentions for the monetary aid she received as a beneficiary.

“Thank you very much, NHA and GM Tai. This financial help will serve as an additional fund for our small business to invest new furniture in our house. Because until now, we haven’t yet recovered from the tragedy that we suffered,” Buison said.
