Senator Bong Go Praises Healthcare Outreach in Cavite City




Senator Bong Go has praised a recent healthcare outreach initiative in Cavite City, underscoring the significance of accessible medical services in local communities.


Organized by Geraldine Borromeo, class president of ASIAN School of Advanced Technology Inc., the healthcare outreach took place at Villa Porta Covered Court, Barangay San Roque, Cavite City, on Sunday, February 18. Borromeo's leadership ensured the event's success, aligning with the institution's mission to cultivate compassionate caregivers.


Senator Go's Malasakit Team extended support by providing grocery packs, shirts, vitamins, basketballs, and volleyballs to selected beneficiaries, emphasizing the senator's commitment to grassroots healthcare initiatives. Senator Go's advocacy for accessible healthcare, particularly through the Malasakit Centers program, has significantly impacted communities nationwide, with approximately ten million indigent patients assisted and 159 operational centers established nationwide.


Senator Go's vision extends to Cavite, with plans for the establishment of 12 Super Health Centers to bolster primary care access in the province. Additionally, infrastructure support, including road upgrades and enhancements to public facilities, demonstrates Senator Go's comprehensive approach to community development.


The successful healthcare outreach in Cavite City, praised by Senator Bong Go, highlights the collaborative efforts of community organizers, institutions, and government leaders in addressing the healthcare needs of the Filipino people.
